Torn

I put myself out there,
Let loose and bared all,
You told me you loved me,
Said you'd never let me fall.

What we had was so good,
How could you throw that away,
I did what I could,
I didn't know it would end this way.

I gave all that I had,
Maybe it was too much,
It's just so sad,
You act as though you can't stand my touch.

What did I do to deserve this,
You took what you wanted,
I saw nothing amiss,
By your cruel words I was bombarded.

You've grown tired of me,
Nothing can be the same.
There is something I can't see.
Am I the one that changed?

You don't love me anymore,
I'm left all alone to mourn,
I was so full of life before,
Now I'm just.....torn.
